Personal Traits:
Tara is a decendant of the famous Kennedys of Hyannisport,
Massachusetts. Her father, John Hyannis Kennedy, earned a law degree
at the Univeristy of California, Berkeley, and then moved to Yuma,
Arizona, where he helped found his own law firm (Kennedy, Benson and
Hannigan) in the suburb of Winterhaven (across the Colorado River in
California). Her mother is a history teacher in Yuma, and she has
always had a strong interest in military history. At the Academy, she
signed up for the Marine track, and her aptitude in chemistry led her
into the explosives and demolitions field.
While at the Academy, she also played on the intercollegiate women's
football (soccer) team, as a backup goalkeeper.

Ms. Kennedy is not your typical Marine. She's much friendlier than
most, but tough when she needs to be. She's a soccer goalie and a
Marine cadet, but still has been known to paint her nails and wear an
evening gown to a fancy restaurant. This may be due to her upbringing,
as one of the members of the Kennedy clan, although she grew up in the
Colorado River valley and only interacted with the bulk of the family
- still in the eastern North American provinces - on holidays.
