B I O G R A P H Y: 

Jackson Stone was born at the Utopia Planitia dockyards where both his parents are currently Starfleet engineers employed in the construction & re-fitting of Starfleet vessels.  Being surrounded from such an early age with technology, Jack developed technical skills at an early age that many accomplished engineers would be proud of. 

Gaining his pilots' licence at 14 years of age, Jackson left Utopia Planitia to study by invitation at the Vulcan Science Academy.
After completing his medical degree Jack served briefly in the Vulcan Medical Corps, a relief organisation sent to regions of where natural disasters overwhelemed the local infrastructure, and received a commendation for his actions.  Jack soon decided to move to Earth to gain a better appreciation of his Terran heritage. Here he decided to learn about the history of Terran culture as expressed through music, and enrolled at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.  Starfleet had always been a major influence in Jack's life, and it was no surprise to his family when he entered Starfleet Academy and completed a medical degree.  His first assignment was to the USS GAUSS, a Feynman-class vessel, around SD 71128.  He was assigned as Chief Science Officer, and worked quite closely with his future wife, Bryony West, who was CEO at the time. After the GAUSS was decommisioned, he pulled some strings, and was promoted to Lt and assigned as CMO of the USS HUNTINGTON (around SD 80730), the same ship to which Bryony had been transferred.  The HUNTINGTON was destroyed by sabotage, and Jack was reassigned as CMO of the USS MCKINLEY with Bryony.
Soon afterwards, however, Bryony was transferred, and Jack was left on the MCKINLEY - but managed to propose marriage to Bryony first.  The last mission on that ship involved being thrown through time but the ship was able to come back to it's right place eventually. In between assignments, Jack and Bryony got married on SD 90328, and two weeks later, Jack was assigned as Assistant CMO of the USS TEMPEST.  During his time on board, he has been thrown into the role of acting CMO many times, for several months at a stretch while the TEMPEST tried to find a CMO that would stay put.  On SD 111013, Jack was promoted to LtCommander,
and assigned as TEMPEST's Head of Medical Research.... even though he has still had to act as CMO several times after that.
